Expert for foreign languages (m/f/*) or Translator (m/f/*)
We are an internationally active, Munich based patent law firm with an excellent reputation. We advise and support our clients in securing their intellectual property and their competitive position. Currently we employ approximately 160 people.
Your tasks:
- As part of our in-house training program, you will learn all the necessary skills for a successful career
- You correspond on an international level with clients, inventors, patent offices and attorneys abroad in English and German
- You will be responsible for the administrative part of intellectual property matters (patents and trademarks) and will support our patent attorneys in all legal issues concerning the intellectual property of our clients
- You prepare all necessary documents for filing of German and European patent applications
- You control your own portfolio of intellectual property files and the processes for meeting their deadlines
Your profile:
- You have successfully earned a degree in linguistic studies, translation or in a similar field
- You have secure knowledge of German and English
- You are characterized by a careful working style, quick comprehension and high motivation
